Swedish master version • Version 1.3 • Effective from 11 October 2026
These terms govern your account and your use of Movo's websites, mobile app and digital services for finding, booking, administering and paying for parking, charging and related services. Please read in particular the sections on who provides the service, verification of registration number and area, automatic camera parking, pricing, termination and liability. The parts relating to a particular function apply when that function is offered and used.
1 Movo and contact details
1.1 The contracting party for Movo's platform services is Movo Mobility AB, company registration number 559585-1543, with postal address Smedjegatan 33, 131 54 Nacka, Sweden. VAT registration number: SE559585154301. In these terms, this company is referred to as Movo, we or us.
1.2 Customer service, complaints and other questions: hello@getmovo.com. Website: getmovo.com. You can also write to the postal address above. Prior to a consumer purchase, the telephone number and other mandatory contact details for Movo and the relevant seller shall be provided in the purchase flow and the order confirmation. The facility's contact channels and opening hours are shown in connection with the offer or on site.
1.3 Movo's privacy policy can be accessed via the link Privacy Policy during registration, in the purchase flow and in the service menu. Data protection queries should be sent to privacy@getmovo.com. Acceptance of these terms of use does not constitute a general consent to the processing of personal data or to marketing.
1.4 These terms apply to private use and, where applicable, to users representing an organisation. Separate operator agreements, licence agreements and data processing agreements are entered into separately and do not arise from an ordinary user account. Section 24 only applies where the contracting party is a trader acting for the purposes of its business.
2 Definitions and contracting parties
2.1 The Platform is Movo's digital system, including the mobile app, web interface, Marketplace, customer portal, QR-based purchases and features shown on a partner's website or in another application. The features may include search, maps, availability, parking, charging, permits, queues, bookings, digital agreements, digital access, corporate profiles, guest management and add-on services. The Service refers to the function or performance that you order. A transaction is, for example, a parking session, charging, booking or purchase of a permit.
2.2 The Seller is Movo Mobility AB or the partner expressly identified as the seller for the respective purchase. The Supplier refers in these terms to the seller or the specifically identified party responsible for the relevant performance. A partner may be a parking operator, municipality, property owner, housing cooperative, charging operator, hotel or other service provider. A facility, also referred to as a location, is the place, zone, property or charging station that the offer relates to. The party administering the facility's settings is not automatically the seller or creditor.
2.3 The platform agreement is entered into with Movo. The agreement for parking, lease, charging or other purchased performance is entered into with the seller identified in the purchase flow before your order and in the order confirmation. Where Movo is named as the seller, Movo is also responsible for the seller's obligations. Where a partner is the seller, Movo may, on their behalf, broker the order, administer permits, transfer information and coordinate invoicing and payment. Payment is processed through the payment and invoicing services specified for the purchase.
2.4 The fact that Movo appears on a QR code, a sign, a receipt or an account statement does not in itself mean that Movo owns the facility or is responsible for its physical operation. The allocation of liability follows the information provided before the purchase and each party's actual obligations. These terms do not limit any liability that follows by law from Movo's actual role.
2.5 Before a purchase, the supplier's identity, relevant contact details, the scope of the performance and applicable specific terms are shown. If a seller is not a trader, this shall be stated together with information that consumer rules normally do not apply to the agreement with that seller. Movo's own obligations as a trader are not affected by this.
2.6 Mandatory law takes precedence over contractual terms. Thereafter, expressly agreed individual terms and accepted specific product or country terms take precedence over these terms of use within their respective area. A supplier's own terms do not extend Movo's obligations without Movo's approval and do not limit your statutory rights against Movo. Information that forms part of the agreement by law retains its effect.
2.7 The range and functions vary between operators, facilities, products and countries. A mention here does not mean that the function is included in your account, is available everywhere or has a particular launch date. New functions within the stated purpose of the Service are covered when they are offered and used. A new payment service, material change or new processing of personal data is subject to the information and consent applicable to the measure in question.
3 Registration and how agreements are entered into
3.1 For a personal account, you must be 18 years of age or older and have the capacity to enter into the agreement. A special offer for younger users requires an expressly approved arrangement with the authorisation or consent required by law. You may not register using someone else's identity.
3.2 The platform agreement is entered into when you expressly accept the terms and Movo confirms the registration. Movo may request the information and checks necessary for identification, authorisation, payment and security. The fact that a registration application has been submitted does not mean that it has been approved.
3.3 Where guest purchases are offered, you do not need to create a full account. You must still be given the opportunity to review and accept the terms applicable to the purchase. Features for history, extension, receipts and recurring payment may differ from those of a registered account; any relevant restrictions must be stated before the purchase.
3.4 Every paid order shall be actively confirmed after you have been informed of the price or how the price is calculated. The order becomes binding once confirmed in the manner specified in the purchase flow. An error message or a card amount reservation is not in itself confirmation of a valid parking session, booking or charging session.
3.5 You will receive an order confirmation and the applicable terms in a form you can save, such as email or a downloadable document provided to you. Movo records which version of the terms and which choices you have accepted. This record may be used as evidence but is not solely decisive and does not prevent you from showing that information is incorrect.
3.6 If an existing customer relationship is transferred from, for example, an operator to Movo, you will be informed of what is being transferred, which parties are responsible and which agreements are affected. An existing agreement does not change contracting party or content merely because an account is created or because these terms are published.
4 The account and your information
4.1 You must provide accurate and up-to-date information and update, without undue delay, contact details, registration number, country of registration, payment information and other information needed for the Service. You are responsible for having the right to register and use vehicles and payment methods that you link to the account.
4.2 The account is personal. Protect passwords, electronic ID, one-time codes, authentication links and other credentials. Do not share them with others. Use the designated features for delegation, corporate accounts or guest registration where available, instead of sharing your login.
4.3 Contact Movo as soon as you discover or have reasonable grounds to suspect unauthorised use, a stolen device or misuse of a registration number. Movo may take proportionate security measures and request additional identification. You are not automatically liable for every action technically recorded on the account; liability for unauthorised use is determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances.
4.4 You are responsible for orders that you make yourself or that you duly authorise someone else to make on your behalf. You must inform anyone using a vehicle with automatic payment of how the function works. Remove or deactivate the authorisation when you sell, return or otherwise cease to have use of the vehicle.
4.5 If you represent an organisation, you must be authorised to place the order and use its account. The selected payment profile and approved authorisations determine who is invoiced. An employee does not personally become liable for payment of the employer's debt merely by being a user. A private order is not automatically transferred to the employer afterwards.
4.6 User roles and delegations limit which information and purchases you may handle. An invitation to a corporate, hotel or association account only grants the authorisation that is shown and accepted. The organisation may revoke the authorisation for future use; valid orders and rights under already concluded agreements are handled separately.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 You need the equipment, internet connection and software specified before the conclusion of the agreement for the relevant function. Specific requirements, such as support for a particular operating system, camera, electronic ID or location permission, must be stated where the function is offered. You are responsible for your own costs for connectivity, data traffic and equipment.
5.2 Install necessary security and functionality updates within a reasonable time after being informed of them and of the consequences of not doing so. Movo is not liable for a defect caused solely by such an update not having been installed, provided that the information and installation instructions were adequate and the limitation of liability is consistent with law.
5.3 The Service may be affected by connectivity, battery level, device settings, local systems and operational disruptions. Movo does not guarantee uninterrupted access or a particular response time unless this is expressly included in the purchased service. Movo shall nevertheless meet agreed and statutory requirements regarding functionality, security, updates and remediation.
5.4 If a function does not work, you must follow the displayed fallback procedures and, where reasonably possible, use another accepted payment method or contact the supplier. A technical disruption does not in itself entitle you to park in breach of the site's rules. You do not need to put yourself or others at risk in order to deal with a fault.
6 Marketplace and information on offers
6.1 Marketplace may display offers for several operators, organisations or facilities. An operator's or a hotel's profile page may therefore have a limited range. Map markers and search results do not mean that all locations in a geographical area are included in the offer.
6.2 Read the specific product description. It must state, among other things, the area of validity, time, vehicle type, any residency requirement, whether the space is reserved or subject to availability and whether charging or other services are included. A photograph, map or symbol does not extend a clearly stated product scope.
6.3 Availability information may change between a search and a confirmed purchase. An indication of availability is not in itself a reservation. An expressly confirmed reservation is, however, assessed according to its agreement; this provision does not override a capacity guarantee that has actually been sold.
6.4 The principal criteria for ranking and their relative weighting must be easily accessible at the search results. Paid placement must be clearly marked. If individually automated personalised pricing is used, you must be informed of this before the order becomes binding.
6.5 If information from a supplier is incomplete or contradictory, Movo may suspend new orders while the information is verified. Already concluded agreements and the right to a refund are not unilaterally affected by the removal of a listing. Movo remains responsible for its own information, representations and statutory verification obligations.
6.6 Data from location sensors, cameras, maps and other systems are tools used to display availability. Choose the correct space type, vehicle type, area and permission category. A signal of an available space, or a filter for, for example, charging, heated garage or residency, does not replace a confirmed booking or the terms applicable to the space. Incorrect product information is assessed under section 17.
7 Prices and fees
7.1 Before the purchase, you must be given the total price including VAT and mandatory fees. If the total price depends on time, energy consumption or other future circumstances, the basis of calculation, applicable unit prices, minimum fees and any caps shall be shown. Currency, rounding, billing intervals and relevant time limits must be stated.
7.2 Any Movo service fee, the supplier's fee and any selected add-ons must be itemised so that you understand what you are paying for. A free account does not mean that parking, charging, invoicing options or add-on services are free of charge. A fee requiring your approval may not be added via a pre-selected option.
7.3 Prices may vary between days, times, facilities, customer categories and contract types. The pricing rule you accept at the time of order applies to that order, including previously stated time-based changes. An extension or a new purchase may be subject to a new price shown before acceptance. An already agreed fixed price is not changed retroactively.
7.4 Discounts and promotions apply in accordance with the restrictions shown before the purchase, such as period, eligibility, number of uses and which fees are covered. Check that the code has been applied before you confirm. Discounts are combined only where the offer permits it. A promotional credit received free of charge may be limited to specified purchases and need not be redeemed for cash. This does not apply to a statutory refund or to an amount that you have paid yourself.
7.5 If there is an obvious pricing or data entry error and you were aware, or ought to have been aware, of the error, the order may be handled in accordance with applicable contract law. Movo may not, by reference to this provision, arbitrarily change an accepted price. You shall be informed and any amount wrongly received shall be refunded.
7.6 If your bank or payment provider converts currency or charges its own fee, that cost is governed by your agreement with that party. A currency conversion or fee offered by Movo must, however, be disclosed before you give your approval.
8 Parking and control of the session
8.1 Before starting, check that the correct facility, area code, registration number, country of registration, payment profile and parking product have been selected. A location suggestion based on GPS is an aid and cannot on its own determine which side of a street, which floor or whether you are on private land.
8.2 You must comply with traffic rules, signage, time restrictions, local regulations and clearly communicated facility terms. Digital payment does not replace requirements such as a specific permit, active charging or the correct vehicle type. In the event of a conflict, you should check with the supplier before relying on the information. Your rights in the event of incorrect pricing or service information remain unaffected.
8.3 A manually started parking session is valid from the confirmed start time. Check the confirmation. A request that has not been confirmed must not be treated as a successful start. Automatic camera parking instead follows section 11 and the facility's displayed process.
8.4 You must end or extend the parking session in accordance with the product you have chosen. Closing the app, logging out, leaving the location, losing connectivity or deleting the app does not end a manual session. An extension only applies once confirmed and may be prevented by the location's time rules or product restrictions.
8.5 For fixed-time tickets and daily products, the fee may apply to the entire selected period even if you leave earlier. This must be disclosed at the time of purchase. For an ongoing session, the billing interval and any automatic end time must be stated. An automatic end time does not grant permission to remain after the parking session's validity has expired.
8.6 Reminders, push notifications and forecasts help you manage your parking but may be delayed or fail to arrive. You must keep track of the validity period even if a reminder does not arrive. This does not limit liability for a defect in a specifically purchased or expressly guaranteed function.
8.7 To the extent that a cost results from your having entered incorrect information, chosen the wrong area or not complied with the location's rules, you bear responsibility for it. Movo is not responsible for writing off a fee issued by another party. If a fault in Movo's own service has caused damage, your claim is assessed in accordance with sections 17 and 23.
9 Permits and queues
9.1 A permit is valid for the period, the area, the vehicles and the eligibility requirements stated in the confirmation. A general area permit does not guarantee any particular available space, unless a reserved space is expressly included. A permit does not confer ownership or any extended right to the facility.
9.2 You must keep the link between permit and vehicle up to date. A vehicle change takes effect from the time the change was confirmed and does not retroactively change an earlier registration. Restrictions on the number of vehicles, simultaneous parking, visits or changes must be stated before the product is ordered.
9.3 The supplier decides on substantive eligibility requirements for, for example, residents, employees or hotel guests. You must provide the information needed for the assessment and inform of any change that affects eligibility. The supplier may reassess eligibility in accordance with the terms and rules applicable to the letting.
9.4 A queue registration implies the possibility of receiving a future offer and is not a booking or undertaking as to a particular waiting time. The queue order, points, priorities, any fees, how offers are made and the consequence of a failure to respond must be described for the relevant queue. Your displayed queue position may change through correct application of these rules.
9.5 Movo may correct documented registration and calculation errors. Material changes to queue rules are decided by the responsible supplier and must be communicated to those affected, with an explanation of the consequences for existing participants. An arbitrary loss of accrued priority is not permitted under this provision.
9.6 If eligibility is refused or a permit is revoked, you must be informed of the responsible decision-maker and how an objection is to be submitted. Refund and termination of a paid letting follow its contract and the law. Movo may provide the administration without being the party that decides on the allocation.
9.7 Digital signing or acceptance of a separate rental, letting or permit agreement applies with the party and to the extent shown in that agreement. Movo may document the signing and forward notices without assuming the obligations of the lessor. Accrued queue points may not be sold, transferred or manipulated unless the queue's express rules permit a transfer.
10 Bookings and cancellations
10.1 A booking is valid only once a booking confirmation has been issued. It must state the supplier, time, place or place category, price, included services and any requirements for entry. Booking a category does not confer a right to a particular space number unless this has been specifically agreed.
10.2 Check the arrival time, latest entry, number of entrances and exits, and whether an earlier arrival or later departure incurs a different fee. An extension requires available capacity and confirmation. A supplier may not, without support in the agreement, subsequently charge an arbitrary additional price.
10.3 The possibility of cancelling, deadlines and any cancellation or no-show fee must be stated clearly before the order is placed. Outside the statutory right of withdrawal, a pre-agreed and reasonable such fee may be charged. When assessing reasonableness, account is taken of, among other things, the value of the reservation, costs avoided and the possibility of reselling the capacity.
10.4 If the supplier cannot provide a confirmed reservation, it must offer the solution, refund or other remedy that follows from the agreement and the law. A materially different place or performance requires your approval. Movo is liable for incorrect intermediation attributable to Movo's own undertaking.
11 Camera parking and automatic payment
11.1 Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) means that the facility's system registers a vehicle's entry and exit. The facility's information must explain whether your session is started and ended automatically, requires manual activation or is paid in arrears. The presence of a camera does not mean that automatic payment via Movo is activated.
11.2 To connect a vehicle to automatic payment, you must expressly activate the function, check the registration number and country, and select a payment profile. Activation grants authority to charge the sessions covered by the information and price model you have approved. It is not an unlimited consent for other vehicles, services or debts.
11.3 Check that the relevant facility supports the activated function. Keep the registration plates legible and follow the facility's instructions. Camera readings may be incorrect. When information about the session is available, you must check it and report any detected discrepancies without undue delay.
11.4 The charged time may begin on entry and end on exit, including time spent driving within the facility, if this is stated before entry or the order. Any free passage or payment period follows the facility's stated terms. The absence of a notice or an open barrier mode does not in itself mean the parking is free of charge.
11.5 Deactivate automatic payment before a vehicle is sold, returned, changes user or is otherwise no longer to be covered by your payment profile. Deactivation stops future automatic orders under the displayed function but does not remove liability for payment for sessions already completed. Information on ongoing sessions must be displayed when the function is switched off.
11.6 The same session must not be finally charged more than once for the same performance. If several apps or accounts are connected, you must follow the displayed prioritisation and activation rules. In the case of suspected double charging, Movo helps to check its transactions and corrects amounts that Movo has incorrectly charged.
11.7 In the case of a missing or clearly incorrect reading, Movo and the supplier may investigate the session using relevant available evidence and correct a documented error. An estimated time must be capable of being explained and disputed. Movo may not treat its own system record as irrefutable evidence or charge for unlimited parking merely because an exit record is missing.
11.8 Camera surveillance and processing of images are regulated separately by applicable data protection information and signage. Activation of the payment function does not in itself constitute consent to all camera surveillance or to the use of images for other purposes.
12 Access and digital keys
12.1 Digital keys, links, codes, RFID tags and access cards grant only the authority that follows from your valid purchase or permit. They must not be sold, shared further or used to admit unauthorised persons. Report loss or suspected misuse as soon as possible.
12.2 Follow safety instructions for gates, barriers, garages and charging equipment. Do not attempt to force or bypass a locked passage. Check opening hours and how to get help in case of a locked entrance or exit. In case of acute danger, contact the emergency services or rescue services in the relevant country.
12.3 The supplier is responsible for physical access and equipment to the extent this is included in its performance. Movo is responsible for its own contracted digital function. A technical dependency on another party does not release Movo from an undertaking that Movo itself has sold.
12.4 A charge for a replacement card, lost equipment or an unnecessary call-out may only be levied with clear contractual support and must be reasonable. A fee is not charged for remedying a fault that Movo is required by law to remedy free of charge.
13 Vehicle charging
13.1 Before starting charging, you must check the correct charging station and outlet, connector type, price and any requirement for a separate parking permit. The agreement must show who is selling the charging and who is responsible for the equipment. Movo is the seller only when this is expressly stated.
13.2 The price may consist of an energy price per kWh, a time fee, a start fee and a fee for occupying the charging space after charging has ended. All applicable components and when they begin to accrue must be stated before the start. Charging and parking are separate services unless a combined product has been expressly ordered.
13.3 Use only compatible, undamaged and approved equipment. Follow the instructions of the vehicle and charging equipment. Stop use and contact the responsible operator if you discover damage or a safety risk. You must not tamper with measurement, load balancing or protective functions.
13.4 The actual charging speed is affected by the vehicle, battery, temperature, shared power and the electricity grid. The stated maximum power is not an undertaking that your vehicle will always receive that power or a particular charge level at a particular time, unless this has been specifically agreed. The information about the charger must nevertheless be correct and not misleading.
13.5 Check that charging has actually started. Follow the displayed procedure for stopping and disconnecting. A fully charged battery, a closed app or an automatic charging stop does not necessarily end a separate parking or occupancy fee that has been clearly agreed.
13.6 The fee must be based on the agreed measurement and pricing rule. If metering data is missing or incorrect, the charge must be investigated; you have the right to have the calculation basis explained and to raise objections. An estimate must not be used to arbitrarily increase your cost.
13.7 Problems with the charging equipment are reported to the operational contact stated on site or in the service. Problems with Movo's digital ordering or payment handling are reported to Movo. Liability and complaint rules apply even when a fault relates to charging; the consumption of electricity does not generally abolish the right to object to an incorrect charge.
14 Hotels and other additional services
14.1 Add-ons such as car washing, tyre service, transfers, hotel packages or other vehicle and visitor services are ordered separately or as an expressly described package. Before purchase, it must be stated what is included, who performs the service, price, time, access requirements and cancellation terms.
14.2 The supplier is responsible for its staff, its equipment and the performance the supplier has agreed with you. Movo does not provide a separate quality, time or result guarantee for the supplier's performance by publishing the offer. Movo is, however, responsible for its own representations and for its own errors in the intermediation.
14.3 Handover of car keys, storage of a vehicle and the right to drive the vehicle require a specific agreement with the responsible supplier. A parking purchase does not mean that Movo takes the car into custody or assumes insurance liability.
14.4 A discount code or registration via a hotel, employer or association confers only the benefits and the validity period stated. A completed hotel stay or a change in employment may affect eligibility under the relevant offer but does not change an already paid agreement without support in the contract or the law.
14.5 In the case of transfers or other passenger transport, the terms of carriage of the identified carrier apply, together with applicable passenger rights. Information on departures and estimated times must be understood in accordance with the offer. Agreed pick-up, accessibility needs, luggage and any child restraints must be confirmed with the responsible supplier. Mandatory rules on package travel or other combined offers apply when their conditions are met.
15 Payment and payment consent
15.1 Available payment methods and when payment occurs are stated before purchase. Movo uses Adyen for the electronic payments offered through that integration and Billogram for the invoice and payment flows offered through Billogram. The range may include cards, digital wallets, direct payment, invoice and recurring payment. You do not need to use all providers to have a Movo account. Any separate terms from a payment provider apply to that provider's service and do not replace Movo's responsibility for its own agreement.
15.2 When you approve a purchase or specifically activate recurring payment, you give consent to charge the chosen payment method in accordance with the approved price, price formula and payment interval. For automatic camera parking, section 11 also applies. A saved card does not alone mean that a paid subscription has been ordered.
15.3 A temporary card reservation may be needed before the start. The reservation amount and the principle for the final charge must be displayed in the payment flow. Only the fee that actually follows from the agreement may be finally charged. Movo must, without undue delay, initiate the release of any excess reservation; the bank's processing time may be added.
15.4 If a payment fails, Movo may make further attempts for the same overdue debt within the approved payment arrangement and inform you of the payment problem. Another saved payment method is used only if you have approved it as a backup. A change to a more expensive invoicing option requires sufficient contractual support and prior information about the fee.
15.5 You must be entitled to use the chosen payment method and ensure that its details are up to date. A technically approved payment authorisation does not alone determine who is ultimately liable in the case of unauthorised use. Rights under payment services legislation and your agreement with the payment provider are not affected.
15.6 You will receive a receipt or payment record containing the information required for the relevant transaction. An invoice must state the creditor and payee. If a claim is assigned, you must be given clear information about where payment is to be made. Your objections to the claim may be raised to the extent permitted by law, even after assignment.
15.7 Payment correctly made to the payee designated with authority need not be made a second time due to internal reconciliation issues between Movo, the supplier and the payment provider. In the event of technically uncertain payment status, you should check the payment before making a new attempt.
16 Invoicing and payment delay
16.1 The facility's authorised administrator may activate the invoice and credit options offered by the seller. The purchase flow states who is the seller, any creditor, due date, costs and the credit terms that apply. A system setting does not in itself mean that you have been granted credit. The seller or creditor is responsible for the credit check, pre-contractual information and other requirements required by law. A credit check may only be carried out with sufficient legal basis and relevant information to you. A specific credit agreement requires separate approval where the law so requires.
16.2 In the event of delay, interest may be charged under the Interest Act when its conditions are met. An agreed and permitted reminder fee and lawfully recoverable debt collection costs may also be added. Movo does not charge an unspecified penalty fee solely on the basis of these terms.
16.3 If you consider a claim to be incorrect, you must state what you are objecting to and why. A substantively well-founded objection must be investigated. You need to pay the undisputed part when it falls due, subject to your statutory right to withhold payment. Disputing a claim or exercising a lawful right of recourse is not in itself regarded as abuse.
16.4 Non-payment may result in new purchases or a future permit period not being activated, after relevant information and in compliance with the law and the agreement. A subsequently arising payment disruption does not automatically render a previously confirmed valid parking invalid retroactively.
16.5 Movo may claim compensation for a proven loss arising from intentional payment fraud or other conduct giving rise to liability. Compensation must not be claimed twice and must not be used to circumvent limits on permitted collection fees.
17 Defects and complaints
17.1 Contact Movo if a function, transaction or charge for which Movo is responsible is incorrect. State the relevant transaction number, registration number, time and a description. Provide the evidence you reasonably have access to; you do not need to provide internal technical information available only to Movo or the supplier.
17.2 Complain as soon as you notice a defect. For a consumer, Movo always regards a complaint made within two months of discovering the defect as made in good time. Longer statutory periods, rules of evidence and rights relating to digital services apply where applicable. A short deadline in a support form does not limit these rights.
17.3 Movo must investigate the complaint and explain its assessment. If the fault lies in Movo's performance, you are entitled to the remedies that follow from law and the agreement, for example rectification, price reduction, refund, termination or damages. Movo must be given reasonable opportunity to remedy where the law grants a right to this. You cannot claim double compensation for the same loss.
17.4 When the complaint concerns the supplier's physical performance, Movo will help you identify the correct contact. Movo may not dismiss a complaint regarding its own liability solely on the grounds that a supplier or subcontractor has been involved.
17.5 A control charge on private land and a public-law parking fine may be subject to different rules for payment and contestation. Follow the instructions from the issuer. A support case with Movo does not automatically suspend any external payment or appeal deadline. Movo may provide relevant transaction records but cannot guarantee that the issuer will cancel the charge.
17.6 An incorrect charge by Movo must be corrected and refunded without undue delay. Statutory refunds are made within the applicable period and using the same payment method, unless you expressly agree otherwise. A credit balance does not replace a cash refund to which you are entitled without your voluntary consent.
17.7 The operator or competent authority that issues a control charge or parking fine is responsible for the decision and its handling. The fact that Movo Field, a Movo form or a Movo payment page is used does not make Movo the issuer. Objections to the charge itself must be directed to the stated issuer in accordance with the instructions and deadlines that apply. Movo is responsible for the digital undertakings Movo itself has made and may, on instruction, forward evidence and communications.
18 Subscriptions and recurring purchases
18.1 A paid subscription only begins after an active purchase. Before the purchase, the price per period, any minimum contract period, the first and subsequent charges, included services, cancellation terms and any automatic renewal are displayed. A trial period that converts to payment requires clear information and approval of that conversion.
18.2 If no specific minimum-term or cancellation terms have been agreed, a Movo subscription applies until further notice and may be cancelled with effect from the end of the already-commenced paid period. Cancellation prevents the next renewal. You can cancel via the function shown in the service or by a clear notice to Movo and should receive confirmation.
18.3 A separate parking or right-of-use agreement may have other terms for duration, cancellation and renewal, which are shown at the time of that purchase. Mandatory rules for the actual form of tenancy/right of use take precedence. Movo does not reclassify a lease or other right of use by calling the product a subscription.
18.4 Where Swedish law on automatic extension of agreements applies to a fixed-term agreement, the responsible contracting party must provide the written reminder required by law no later than one month before the final cancellation date. If a mandatory reminder is not given, your statutory right to terminate the agreement applies.
18.5 Removing a card, selling the car, deleting the app or ceasing to use the service is not in itself a cancellation. If you expressly notify that all Movo subscriptions are to be terminated, Movo shall treat this as a cancellation and inform you of any separate supplier agreements and remaining validity period.
18.6 Fees for a period during which an agreed service has been made available are normally not refunded merely because you have chosen not to use it. This does not affect the right of withdrawal, remedies for defects, rights upon a change of terms or other statutory refund claims.
19 Right of withdrawal for consumers
19.1 Where the Swedish Distance Contracts Act applies, you as a consumer normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. For a service agreement, the period normally begins the day after the agreement was entered into. In the event of insufficient information, the period may be extended by law. The right of withdrawal is assessed per agreement; an account, a subscription and a separate booking may constitute different agreements.
19.2 You exercise the right of withdrawal by giving clear notice to the responsible contracting party. For agreements with Movo, you can use the Cancel agreement function for the relevant order in the app or on the website, email hello@getmovo.com, or use the form in Appendix A. For guest purchases, the function is accessed via the order's confirmation link. The form is optional. The notice must be sent within the withdrawal period; you do not need to use any particular wording.
19.3 For online agreements with a right of withdrawal, the digital withdrawal function is kept easily accessible throughout the withdrawal period. It allows you to identify the agreement, enter or confirm your details and expressly confirm the withdrawal. Movo shall, without delay, send an acknowledgement of receipt in a readable and durable electronic form stating the time of receipt.
19.4 If you want a paid service to begin being performed before the withdrawal period has expired, you may expressly request this in the purchase flow. If you then withdraw, payment may be required for a proportionate part of what has been performed up to your notice, provided the legal requirements regarding information and the request are met. Merely accepting these terms is not a separate request for immediate performance.
19.5 The right of withdrawal for a paid service ceases upon full performance only where the statutory conditions are met, including your express prior consent to the performance beginning and your acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal lapses once the service has been fully performed. It does not generally lapse simply because you have opened the app or begun using the account.
19.6 The supply of electricity and charging may be subject to special rules depending on the content of the agreement. For electricity that begins to be supplied at your express request during the withdrawal period, proportionate payment may be required where the statutory information requirements are met. Information on what right of withdrawal and exceptions apply must be given before the purchase; not all charging purchases are generally exempted by these terms.
19.7 For certain add-ons, for example a service for which the law expressly excludes the right of withdrawal due to its nature and fixed performance time, there may be no right of withdrawal. The exception and its basis must be stated for the relevant product before ordering. Cancellation terms under Section 10 are a separate matter from the statutory right of withdrawal.
19.8 Movo shall refund amounts to be repaid as a result of the withdrawal without undue delay and no later than 14 days from receipt of the notice. Any permitted proportionate compensation claims are itemised separately. Refunds are made without a refund fee and normally using the same means of payment.
20 Notices and marketing
20.1 Movo may send confirmations, payment information, security notices and information about changes via your registered contact details. You must keep these details up to date. Where the law requires a readable and durable form, a temporary push notification or a changeable webpage alone is not sufficient.
20.2 Notices necessary for the agreement, security and payment are kept separate from advertising. Optional advertising and analytics functions are handled in accordance with the privacy policy and applicable consent requirements. Declining advertising does not affect essential service or security notices.
20.3 A digital signature or electronic approval may be used where permitted. Movo may use logs and confirmations to document agreements, but does not unilaterally determine their evidential value in a dispute.
21 Permitted use and intellectual property rights
21.1 Movo and its rights holders retain the rights to software, trademarks, database structure and other protected material in the platform. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive right to use the platform for its intended functions during the term of the agreement. It does not grant any right to resell the system or to use Movo as a designation for your own service.
21.2 You must not circumvent security or payment systems, manipulate permits or purchase points, register false identities, distribute malicious code, attack other users, or automatically burden the system in a manner that harms its operation or integrity. Systematic unauthorised collection, copying or resale of protected content is prohibited. Exceptions and rights under mandatory law, for example for interoperability, are not affected.
21.3 You retain the rights to your own material that you lawfully submit. You grant Movo the limited right to process and display the material to the extent necessary to perform your agreement, manage security and investigate claims. This is not a general licence to sell your personal data or to use private material in advertising or for training general AI models.
21.4 Where public reviews or other user content are offered, you may only publish lawful and relevant content without infringing the rights of others. Information on whether and how reviews are verified must be provided where they are displayed. Movo may moderate unlawful content in accordance with Section 22 and shall comply with applicable information and review requirements.
22 Security measures and restricted access
22.1 Movo may restrict a function, refuse a new order or temporarily suspend an account where there is a factually based suspicion of unauthorised access, fraud, serious breach of contract, security risk or use that is prohibited under applicable law. The measure must be proportionate and no more extensive or longer in duration than the reason requires.
22.2 Where the situation allows, you shall be given information about the reason and an opportunity to correct an error. Immediate action may be taken where prior warning would increase the risk or prevent compliance with the law. Information may be limited where a lawful confidentiality requirement or a specific security reason requires it.
22.3 You may request a review via customer service. A well-founded complaint, a claim, a data protection request or a critical review is not in itself grounds for suspension. Where a suspicion no longer justifies the restriction, it shall be reviewed and lifted without undue delay.
22.4 In the event of suspension, Movo shall, to a reasonable and safe extent, enable handling of ongoing sessions, access to receipts, complaints and cancellation. A suspension does not entitle Movo to arbitrarily retain payment for a service that is not delivered.
22.5 Where the platform provides hosting services or public user content, suspected unlawful content can be reported via hello@getmovo.com with the subject line Report of unlawful content. Describe the content, where it is located and why it is considered unlawful. Following review, Movo may restrict visibility, remove content or restrict access. Decisions must be reasoned and reviewed in accordance with applicable law. Further rights under the EU Digital Services Act apply where its provisions are applicable.
23 Movo's liability towards consumers and other users
23.1 Movo is liable for the performance which Movo has undertaken and for obligations arising under law. Movo is not liable, solely on account of its intermediary role, for an independent supplier's physical facility, staff, provision or performance. This limitation does not apply where Movo is itself the seller, has given its own warranty, has caused the defect, or bears liability under mandatory law.
23.2 An ordinary account or payment function does not entail any undertaking to monitor, store, insure or protect your vehicle or its contents. Theft, vandalism, weather effects and damage occurring on site are therefore not covered by any such undertaking by Movo. Liability for compensation may nevertheless arise where the damage was caused by a circumstance for which Movo is liable under law.
23.3 Movo is not liable for loss to the extent it is caused by your own fault, unauthorised instructions from you, incorrect information for which you are responsible, or other circumstances for which you bear the risk under the agreement and the law. Movo is, however, liable for defects caused by engaged subcontractors to the extent required by law and by Movo's own undertaking.
23.4 Movo gives no specific warranty regarding financial savings, revenue, guaranteed available capacity or uninterrupted access beyond what has been expressly sold. Forecasts and recommendations shall be understood in accordance with their clearly stated function. Movo may not describe a central agreed function as merely indicative in order to avoid liability where the function is defective.
23.5 For you as a consumer, the statutory rules on compensation, causation, foreseeability and the obligation to reasonably mitigate damage apply. The terms contain no general cap on amounts or general prohibition on compensation for consequential loss that restricts your mandatory consumer protection. Movo does not pay compensation for damage for which Movo is not liable or which has already been compensated in full.
23.6 No provision limits liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury for which Movo is liable, fraud, mandatory product liability, or your rights under the GDPR and other mandatory law. Statutory refunds, price reductions and other mandatory remedies may not be circumvented by being described as damages.
24 Special liability where the customer is a trader
24.1 This section applies only to a legal or natural person entering into the agreement in the capacity of a trader for its business activities. It does not apply to a consumer and does not entail personal surety for an employee or representative. A specifically signed corporate agreement takes precedence.
24.2 In addition to express undertakings and liability that cannot be contracted away, Movo is only liable for proven direct damage caused by Movo's negligent breach of contract. Movo is not liable for loss of profit, loss of production or turnover, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill or other indirect damage, nor for the customer's obligations towards third parties which Movo has not expressly assumed.
24.3 Movo's total liability in damages towards the trader for events during each rolling twelve-month period is limited to the higher of SEK 1,000 and the platform and service fees actually paid by that customer to Movo for the relevant service during the twelve months preceding the first damaging event. Parking, energy and other amounts accruing to an external supplier are not included in the calculation basis.
24.4 Connected events with the same principal cause are treated as one event for the purposes of applying the cap. The limitation applies regardless of legal basis to the extent permitted by law. The exceptions in Section 23.6 also apply here. The cap does not limit the obligation to refund an incorrect charge or an advance payment for a service that has not been provided.
24.5 The trader shall notify Movo of a claim within a reasonable time after discovery and no later than 60 days thereafter. Delay results in forfeiture of the claim only to the extent the delay has materially impaired Movo's ability to investigate or limit the damage. Statutory limitation rules and the exceptions in 23.6 apply.
24.6 The trader shall compensate Movo for reasonable, proven costs and third-party claims directly caused by the trader's unlawful material, intentional misuse of the system, or lack of authority to give Movo an instruction. This does not include the part that Movo has itself caused. Movo shall notify the customer, limit the costs and give reasonable opportunity to participate in the defence. A settlement creating a payment obligation for the customer requires the customer's reasonable approval. Nothing in this clause transfers public-law sanctions liability contrary to law.
25 Impediments beyond reasonable control
25.1 A party may be released from liability for damages for delay caused by an impediment beyond the party's reasonable control which the party could not reasonably have foreseen, avoided or overcome the consequences of. Examples may include war, natural disaster, extensive societal disruption or a binding decision by a public authority. The assessment is made under the law applicable to the performance.
25.2 Normal maintenance, insufficient staffing, foreseeable capacity problems or an ordinary disruption at a subcontractor is not automatically such an impediment. A cyber incident does not provide exemption from liability for a lack of security measures which Movo was obliged to take.
25.3 The affected party shall limit the consequences and inform the other party as soon as possible. Exemption from liability for damages does not entail a right to charge for performance not rendered or to retain advance payment contrary to law. Where a material performance cannot be carried out within a reasonable time, the agreement may be terminated under law and agreement; an impediment lasting more than 30 days entitles either party to terminate the relevant future service without a specific termination fee.
26 Changes to services and terms
26.1 Movo may implement changes to comply with law, manage documented security risks, maintain compatibility, adjust capacity or improve functions. A change must have a valid reason and be proportionate. This provision does not grant a right to arbitrarily remove a material paid-for function or to introduce a new payment obligation without the necessary approval.
26.2 A change that negatively affects an ongoing agreement shall be notified clearly and normally at least 30 days in advance in a readable and durable form. The notice shall describe the change, the reason, the date, and how you can cancel before it takes effect. A shorter period may be used where law or an urgent security risk requires it, while retaining your statutory rights.
26.3 For continuously supplied digital services covered by the Swedish Consumer Sales Act, its specific rules on changes apply. If a change more than insignificantly impairs access or use, the consumer has the right to terminate with immediate effect within 30 days of the information or the change, whichever is later, unless a lawful exception applies. Necessary information and refunds are provided in accordance with the law.
26.4 A fee change for an ongoing subscription must be based on a stated, legitimate reason, for example changed taxes, documented costs of the service, or an expressly agreed index model. The increase must be proportionate to the reason. A fixed price during an expressly agreed minimum term is not increased on the basis of a general right to change reservation.
26.5 New prices for new, separate purchases are displayed before the purchase. Editorial corrections that do not affect the parties' rights may be published directly. Inaction or continued use is not used as a substitute for an express consent or approval required by law.
27 Termination and closure of account
27.1 You may close an account without a paid subscription at any time through the account function or by clear notice to Movo. For paid and separate products, section 18 and the respective agreement apply. Movo shall inform you of active sessions and of the actions needed so that closure does not leave a parking session or charging session unmanaged.
27.2 Movo may terminate an indefinite-term agreement regarding the platform on at least 30 days' notice for objective business reasons, for example if a service is discontinued. Already confirmed orders shall be fulfilled or wound down with the refunds and other rights that apply. A termination of Movo's cooperation with an operator does not release Movo from obligations already incurred.
27.3 In the event of a material breach of contract, the agreement may be terminated with immediate effect where the statutory requirements are met. If rectification is possible and the circumstances allow it, the defaulting party shall first be given a reasonable opportunity to rectify. Temporary security blocks are governed by section 22.
27.4 Closure is not prevented merely because a debt remains outstanding. The debt and legitimate claims may be handled after closure, without new subscription periods being created solely for that reason. Payment liability, claims and terms which by their nature are intended to survive shall continue to apply to the necessary extent.
27.5 Closure of an account, termination of a product and erasure of personal data are separate actions. Movo shall help you understand which are being carried out. Data that needs to be retained by law or for legal claims is handled in accordance with the privacy policy. Where the law grants a right to obtain user-generated content, Movo shall provide it in accordance with these rules.
28 Assignment and other contractual provisions
28.1 Movo may assign the agreement in connection with a transfer of business or reorganisation to a party able to fulfil the obligations, provided that your rights and the security of your entitlements are not impaired in an impermissible manner. You shall be informed. If the change entails a material disadvantage, you have the right to terminate the affected future service without a specific fee, in addition to what mandatory law provides.
28.2 Movo may engage subcontractors but retains its responsibility for its own agreement to the extent required by law and the agreement. Assignment of a receivable follows section 15.6. Your personal data may not be transferred without legal basis merely because this clause exists.
28.3 You may not sell or transfer the personal account. Transfer of a permit or a booking requires that the rules of the relevant product permit it. Movo may not prevent a transfer to which you are entitled under mandatory law.
28.4 If a provision is invalid, the remaining parts shall apply where the agreement can continue without it. An unfair consumer term does not automatically become valid by being replaced with as far-reaching a limitation as Movo would wish. The fact that Movo on one occasion refrains from enforcing a right does not mean that the right has generally been waived.
29 Country, language and disputes
29.1 This version is designed for services offered on the Swedish market. If you use Movo in another country, you shall, before purchase, be given information on the local contracting party, the applicable country addendum, currency and material local terms. The technical ability to access the platform from a country is not a promise that every service is offered there.
29.2 Swedish law applies to the agreement with Movo Mobility AB. This choice of law does not deprive a consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory rules of the country which, under applicable international rules, provides such protection, for example the country where the consumer has their habitual residence where the business is directed there.
29.3 Disputes shall first be capable of being raised with customer service. A consumer may turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden), arn.se, Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, where the Board has jurisdiction. Movo shall participate in the proceedings and follow ARN's recommendations. The right to bring proceedings before a court is not affected.
29.4 A consumer may bring proceedings before a competent court in accordance with applicable rules, including at their place of residence where such rules grant that right. These terms do not prescribe mandatory arbitration or exclusive Swedish venue for consumers. For a trader under section 24, Nacka District Court is the court of first instance, unless mandatory rules provide otherwise.
29.5 The contract language is specified when the agreement is entered into. The Swedish version is the basis for this Swedish offering. If another language version has been offered and accepted, the rules on clear information, interpretation and consumer protection apply; a translation discrepancy may not be used to impair mandatory rights.
30 Accessibility and assistance
30.1 Contact hello@getmovo.com if you need help accessing the terms, using the service or reporting an accessibility issue. Information on the service's accessibility, known limitations and available support is provided in the service's help section. Movo shall meet the accessibility requirements applicable to the service.
30.2 Use the contact details at the facility for urgent problems with physical access, charging equipment or safety. Customer service for the app is not a rescue or monitoring service. This does not affect the support expressly included in your purchase.

Annex B App distribution
For an app downloaded from the Apple App Store, the following addendum applies to the app licence. The agreement is entered into between you and Movo. Movo is responsible for the app, its content, maintenance, support and the warranty and product claims that are, by law, incumbent on the developer. Apple has no maintenance or support obligation. In the event of a failure to meet warranty obligations, Apple may be contacted for a refund of the app's purchase price; any other permitted warranty liability lies with Movo. Movo also handles the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of third-party claims regarding the app's infringement of intellectual property rights.
The licence is non-transferable and relates to Apple products that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Media Services usage rules, with permitted exceptions for family sharing and volume purchases. Applicable third-party agreements must be complied with. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US embargo or designated by the US as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any US denial or restricted party list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce these app provisions. Contact with the developer takes place in accordance with section 1.
For other app stores, their applicable distribution terms apply together with Movo's contractual undertakings. No app store provision limits mandatory rights.
